Beep's Escape (PC) - Casual Mode speedrun in 23:10 (WR)

Played this game on stream in order to learn commentary for TinyTim78's UKSG run, and I ended up actually giving the speedrun a serious go myself. Beep's Escape is a modern game on Steam that's been very much styled on old ZX Spectrum games, even to the point of including colour clash. The gameplay is quite Dizzy-esque in its emphasis on inventory management and puzzle solving, and whilst I found it quite frustrating as a casual playthrough (a video of this experience may well be in the pipeline), the speedrun is a pretty fun and chill exercise in routing. Future goals with this run may be to get the run below 23 mins, and to have a go at Hardcore Mode (one life) as well. Intro drawing by cowboyknuckles.
