Esxence 2026, the 16th edition of Esxence – The Art Perfumery Event, is the most prestigious international fair dedicated to artistic, niche, and independent perfumery. It will be held at the Allianz MiCo in Milan from June 3rd to 6th, 2026. I'm sharing this video as a critique of the current marketing practices in the perfume world, including those of the houses, brands, and distributors. ESXENCE MILAN is the world's most important event dedicated to niche and independent perfumery, where people can discover new products from brands and laboratories, such as new raw materials. Our complaint is that this year, the entry requirements have been imposed, which we find excessive and, in my opinion, do not reflect the passion that many content creators have for the world of fragrance. A paid collaboration with a perfume brand/house must be accredited, so reviewers attending will need to have completed the corresponding paperwork, stating their association with a brand. Independent content creators like myself find ourselves having to request accreditation or a letter of collaboration with a perfume company or brand, and from my point of view, and given my personality, I'm not willing to compromise my principles to get a ticket. My YouTube channel is public and active, so if they wanted to filter the issue of entry and attendance, it was as easy as looking into the applications from the channels that had requested to collaborate on the event.
