Triumph Trident T160 Engine Rebuild. Part 42. Fitting the Outer Primary Chaincase

This video is part of a series covering the dismantling, refurbishment and reassembly of a 1975 Triumph Trident T160 engine. This particular video covers the refitting of the primary chain case including the gear lever foot and the primary chain adjuster. As this engine has had a Triplex primary chain conversion the adjuster required slight modification and the gear lever foot checked for clearance from the shock absorber unit. It also shows the refitting of the inspection cover on the gearbox over the end of the gear change cross shaft.
