shady & brutal (?) first reaction to HYPE PRINCESS's (/UNPRS Hip Pop Princess) debut single, STOLEN

One of my fav shows from last year finally debuted! I don’t wanna be too harsh…but first reaction to Stolen is…shady to say the least. The girls were great! But the song? Yikes, maybe. These are my first reactions to the song and music video I’ve been waiting for. I ignored Daisy because…yeah…but the girls came THROUGH! If only the song did as well. I also include my thoughts on bias wreckers possibly?? Also I was so surprised at some of the girls I was worried about. We also gotta get into appropriation—which at least to my ignorant self—seemed somewhat non-existent. If anything it felt like they were a group based on past k & j hip-hop groups with a more accessible sound. I mighta thrown some digs at YG or maybe IZNA and STACY but it’s all in good fun…right? I try not to judge too much, ok? lol Hype Princess (or h//pe princess) is a group made through the mnet series unpretty rapstar: hip pop princess which hoped to bring together hip hop girls from Japan & Korean to TAKE OVER THE GLOBE!
