TRIBUNJAKARTA.COM, JAKARTA - The Pedestrian Coalition is calling on the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) to conduct a public investigation into the alleged persecution of a security guard in the Alphard car incident at Pelican Crossing, Jalan MH Thamrin, near the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout, Central Jakarta. The Chairperson of the Pedestrian Coalition, Alfred Sitorus, stated that his organization has received information that the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, through the Law Enforcement Directorate (Dirgakkum), will summon the parties involved in the incident. However, Alfred requested that the summons and clarification process not be conducted behind closed doors. He believes the public needs to know the transparent process of handling this case.
