Floating plants are something you're bound to consider at least once if you're raising a betta 🌿 I only realized why they are essential after I bought some and set them up myself. I also found out how essential they are after I bought them and set them up myself. Once I added the floating plants, the surface water flow became naturally balanced, and strong lighting was gently blocked, and I could see the Betta resting in a much more stable state. Furthermore, since they act as a natural filter by absorbing nitrates, they are a great help in maintaining the aquarium environment. Of course, there are downsides. It can be a bit cumbersome because you have to drain the water through the plants when doing water changes.
