Starfleet vs House of Duras - Star Trek: Attack Wing

Star Trek: Attack Wing, an exciting, fast-paced miniatures battle game set in the Star Trek Universe. Players control Federation, Klingon or Romulan Starships — outfit them with captains, crew, weapons & tech upgrades — and command their fleet to complete missions or exert control over a sector of space. This video uses the contents of the 2017 Starter Set, pitting a Federation Galaxy class and a Nebula class against a Klingong K’vort Bird of Prey, and a Vor’cha Battlecruiser. In particular this video sees the legendary USS Enterprise, Captain by Jean-Luc Picard, and the USS Sharman, Captain by William T. Riker, take on the IKS Vorn, Captained by Duras, son of Ja’rod, and the IKS Ta’nat, Captained by the Duras Sisters, Lursa and B’etor. I might as well take this opportunity to explain the ship names. In Attack Wing there are Named Ships, and Generic Ships. The USS Enterprise and IKS Vorn are Named Ships, unique and usually with their own abilities. Generic Ships are just that, unnamed, not unique, and usually a little cheaper and weaker than their Named counterparts. This game features a Generic Nebula and Generic Vor’cha. But it’s boring to leave them unnamed. So we have the USS Sharman, and IKS Ta’Nat. The USS Sharman is named after Helen Sharman, the first British person in space. Tim Peake was the first British European Space Agency astronaut, but Sharman had him beat by 20 years. The IKS Ta’nat, however, is named after the Klingon word for ‘accomplished’, which feels appropriate.
