Repurposing Old Canvases - How to reuse an old canvas

There are always lots of crafts going on at KatherineLearnsStuff, and sometimes, those crafts involve cleaning up and reusing old supplies! Today at KatherineLearnsStuff, we are repurposing old canvases. I have a lot of canvases that are no longer needed in their final state. And I feel terrible for throwing them out, so it is time to salvage them so they can be reused! This is a simple craft but can take some time, depending on the state of our canvas. But don't worry! This will not change the price you pay. 1) A used canvas – as we want to reuse a canvas, we need to use one that has already been used. In my case, I am using some old paint projects my kids did and no longer want. 2) Paint – I am using regular primer that I have laying around the house from previous projects. But you want a thick white paint. Primer works well. But you can also buy thick acrylic paints or furniture paints as well. I wanted to keep the price down so the reused canvases wouldn’t cost more than a new canvas. https://amzn.to/3CHt0sQ 3) Paintbrush – ideally, a larger paintbrush to get the job done faster. https://amzn.to/3QdVBcu 4) Sandpaper block – Depending on the state of the canvas when you get it, you may need more than one grit type of sandpaper. https://amzn.to/4gQvROh 5) Patience – this project requires patience as it might not happen in one coat of paint.
