Col du Galibier (drive)

This is a drive over the stunning Col du Galibier from the Col du Lauterat over toward Valloire, ending at the barrier. I apologise for the squeals when I am turning right on the descent - my left wheel bearing needs attention. At 1:02 there is a dead dog at the side of the road. I'm not sure what the full story was but it was quite sad. At 13:15 I pass the entrance to the tunnel which can be taken to avoid the final climb to the col (cars only). The exit of the tunnel is passed at 17:24. The col is reached at 15:44. Apologies to the cyclist having a 'rest' at 19:35. Audio was recorded with microphones fixed to the rear of the car to capture some ambience and to minimise wind noise. Camera was on the roof of the car. Driven on 16 July, 2025.
