I've lived all over the world. I've travelled the world. I rode a motorcycle through India for four years. And after looking high and low for the place I want to live the rest of my life, I chose Costa Rica. I don't regret it. I'd do it again tomorrow. But moving overseas to retire isn't free. There's a price nobody talks about, and it isn't the money. The money is the easy part to plan for. There are three goodbyes you don't see coming. And the third one takes the longest to feel.
