Der Trafikant to go (Seethaler in 10,5 Minuten)

Attention, gentlemen, there's a problem with this Playmobil adaptation of THE TOBACCO by Robert Seethaler: The character Otto Trsnjek, the old tobacconist from whom the young Franz Huchel learns the trade of a good tobacconist, is a war invalid—he's missing his left leg. Now, it seems that Playmobil only produces figures (all of them pirates, of course) that are missing their right leg. The novel also doesn't mention a wooden leg—so don't be fooled by the appearance of the otherwise very decent Playmobil Otto Trsnjek. Read the novel to be sure, because in this ten-minute, on-the-go version, Michael Sommer and his Playmobil ensemble naturally only want to give a rough overview of the events, introduce the most important characters, and otherwise pique your interest in a very beautiful novel that is, above all, a delight from a linguistic perspective.
