fabio frizzi set 2 horrorcon uk 2026

Fabio Frizzi is an acclaimed Italian composer best known for his legendary work in horror cinema during the late 1970s and 1980s. Born in Bologna, Italy, Frizzi became internationally recognised through his collaborations with cult horror director Lucio Fulci, creating unforgettable scores for classics such as Zombie, The Beyond, and City of the Living Dead. His music blends eerie melodies, progressive rock, haunting synths, orchestral tension, and atmospheric sound design, helping define the sound of classic Italian giallo and supernatural horror. Frizzi’s compositions often balance beauty and dread, moving from delicate piano themes to intense, nightmarish crescendos filled with dark choirs and pulsating rhythms. Beyond horror, Frizzi has composed for television, drama, comedy, and documentary productions, but his cult status among horror fans continues to grow worldwide. In recent years, he has performed live concerts featuring his iconic film scores alongside screenings of classic horror movies, introducing a new generation to his atmospheric and influential soundtracks. Horrorcon uk had the pleasure of having him in the UK for the first time and he performed two shows , this is the second one
