Have you ever heard the legend of Bloody Mary? Or maybe it's more like a challenge, a dare, to see if you have the courage to take the steps, to look into the mirror, and to invite Bloody Mary into your bathroom. Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary. Charlotte was away at camp when her creepy counselor decided to give her campers a good scare. She took out a book and read them scary stories. She read the legend of Bloody Mary to them while they were out in the woods, around the camp fire, and just in the perfect spot to be scared. Scary stories to tell around the campfire are the best? Or so they thought..... The story of Bloody Mary scared Charlotte, a LOT! The bigger problem was, she had to go to the bathroom that night, and the way the legend went, the bathroom, and that mirror in there, were not a good combination. But, after holding it in for as long as she could she knew she needed to do something - something to make it was not so scary to go to the bathroom. That's when Charlotte started a little detective work and discovered that the evil spirit of Bloody Mary can't really get to her, that it wasn't real - it was a fiction! Scary stories to tell in the dark are one thing, Scaring kids half to death is another! But remember Charlottes solution....Always look at where the story came from, It might just be a fiction book or movies after all. Scary true stories? Maybe not!
