The Venezuelan NGO Provea confirmed the release of community leader Wilmer Antonio Cruz, known by his nickname "The Mole of La Guaira." Cruz disappeared amidst the tragedy of the earthquakes that have devastated Venezuela. The leader publicly denounced, in viral videos, the lack of aid from the Chavista regime, the shortage of heavy machinery to remove the rubble, and the official abandonment of the trapped victims.
