The electrifying tenor Michael Spyres joins forces with Christophe Rousset and Les Talens Lyriques for the first time to explore the operatic writing that illuminated the path to Wagner in a series of 19th-century arias from French, German and Italian composers. https://w.lnk.to/shadowsLY This invigorating series of historically informed performances includes music by Méhul, Beethoven, Rossini, Meyerbeer, Weber, Auber, Spontini, Bellini and Marschner.
