Glimpse of Samvaad 2023 | Tribal Culture Centre | Jamshedpur | Ranchi

In 2023, I embarked on a memorable journey from Bengaluru to Jamshedpur to experience India's rich tribal heritage. I had the privilege of attending the 10th edition of Samvaad, a significant tribal conclave organized by the Tata Steel Foundation. Held from November 15 to 19, 2023, this event brought together nearly 2,500 participants from various tribes across India. The theme for that year was "Walk with Me," symbolizing the journey of ideas and unity among tribal communities. I witnessed traditional dance performances, listened to indigenous music, and admired the intricate craftsmanship displayed by tribal artisans. Over 110 artisans showcased 28 art forms from 37 tribal communities, offering a deep dive into India's diverse tribal arts. I am a temple-hoppin' friend, showing you ancient temples with stories from way back.
