Sri Lanka Has a Piece of Portugal… And It Shocked Us

We’ve been living in Sri Lanka for a month now, and today we saw a side of Sri Lanka we truly didn’t expect. A normal family day turned into a mix of beach time, after school adventures, and a trip to Galle Fort where we ended up finding a little piece of Portugal. This day had the smooth bits, the messy moments, the heat, the chaos, and the magic that always seems to find us here. From fish markets and tuk tuks to ice cream, traffic, kindness from locals and a few surprises along the way… Sri Lanka always keeps us guessing.
