Conferência "E se Acontecesse Outra Vez?" Parte 2 - Dia dos Advogados - Matosinhos

On Lawyers' Day, jurists, academics, and political representatives gather in Matosinhos to discuss "Rule of Law," "fundamental guarantees," and "access to justice." A conference to debate the role of lawyers in defending democracy. The question "What if it happened again?" titles the conference that, on May 18th, Lawyers' Day, brings together jurists, academics, and political representatives at the Constantino Nery Municipal Theatre in Matosinhos for a reflection on Justice, Democracy, and the role of institutions in a time of transformation. Organized by the Portuguese Bar Association, with the support of Renascença radio, the conference "What if it happened again?" stems from a question that doesn't belong only to the past. At a time when, throughout Europe, the Rule of Law faces new pressures, the meeting proposes a debate on the capacity of democratic institutions to respond to scenarios of tension, change, and uncertainty.
