Separable Prefix verbs in German language or German separable verbs are explained with examples in lesson 44 of free German course for beginners. There are many types of German verbs and one of these is German separable verbs, where verb is formed of a prefix part and an infintive form. In German separable verbs meaning of verb is determined by the separable prefix part. If we change the prefix of German separable verb the meaning of separable German verb will be changed. In lesson 44 of free German language course for beginners I have explained the use of separable prefix with examples. By changing the separable prefix of German separable verbs one can make the opposite of German separable verbs. This lesson also explained the concept of how to make opposite verbs in German language or which separable prefix we can use to make opposite verbs. For example anziehen means to put something on ausziehen means to take something off In this example one can see that infinitive form of German separable verb has remained the same. We have only chnaged the separable prefix and this change of separable prefix has changed the meaning of German separable verbs. About the perfect form of German separable verbs, we will make another lesson.
