In the name of the Father, and of the Son ✠, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🛐 ACT OF CONTRITION My Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, my Creator, Father, and Redeemer, because You are who You are, and because I love You above all things, I am heartily sorry for having offended You. I firmly resolve never to sin again, to avoid all occasions of sin, to confess my sins, and to perform the penance that may be imposed upon me. Amen. 🙏 OPENING PRAYER We greet you with filial affection, O glorious Father Saint Benedict, worker of miracles, cooperator with Christ in the work of the salvation of souls. O Patriarch of monks! Look down from heaven upon the vineyard planted by Your hand. Increase the number of Your children, and sanctify them. Protect in a special way all of us who place ourselves with filial love under Your patronage and protection. Pray for the sick, for the tempted, for the afflicted, for the poor, and for us who are devoted to you. Grant us all a peaceful and holy death like your own. Keep us safe from the snares of the enemy in that final hour, and comfort us with your sweet presence. 3️⃣ THIRD DAY O glorious Saint Benedict, who consecrated your lips to prayer and sang divine praises night and day! Obtain for us the spirit of prayer. You, who like a lily among thorns, preserved angelic chastity through humility, constant vigilance, prayer, and mortification of the senses, obtain for us the gift of purity. Saint Benedict, pray for us. 🛐 State the grace you wish to receive through this novena, if it is for the glory of God and the good of your soul, and pray three Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory Be's. 🙏 FINAL PRAYER O glorious Saint Benedict, who from heaven are a loving father to us, your devotees! Your great power before God is recognized today, more than ever, thanks to the medal that bears your name, because of the multitude of miracles and favors that God grants us through it. Pray for all of us who come to you. Obtain for us from the Lord all the graces we need during this life, and especially the grace for which we make this novena.
