La Policía Local de Marchena se forma en el uso de las armas “Taser”

The Professional Union of Municipal Police Officers of Spain-Andalusia (SPPME) is currently offering a pioneering training course on Tasers at the Marchena Development Society facilities, open to officers from other localities as well. This coincides with the City Council's recent acquisition of two such weapons following a request from the Marchena Police Headquarters. Mayor Romero Aguilar and Security Councilor Manuel Suárez attended the opening of this course, publicly presenting the two Tasers, now available to officers training in their use by the local police force in our municipality. The political representatives' assessment is very positive, highlighting that the Marchena Police Headquarters is a benchmark throughout the region for its way of working and the training of its officers. The Marchena Local Police Headquarters emphasizes the pioneering nature of this course, offered through the Professional Union of Municipal Police Officers of Spain-Andalusia. "Taser" is a weapon that immobilizes without harm or injury, and it is an advantage for police officers who must be trained in its use. Hence the organization of this 20-hour course.
