Tahquamenon Falls in the Winter/ Winter camping at Tahquamenon Falls for my birthday

In this episode, I take my boys and I up to Tahquamenon Falls for some winter camping on my birthday. On the way to the Upper Peninsula, we ran into a snowstorm! Halfway there was a rain snow mix. I drove about 30 mph in a 65 zone! But we arrived safely! The boardwalk to the upper falls was closed, so we couldn't get as close as we wanted. I think it'll be open in the spring again? After our quarter mile hike to the upper falls and back, it was getting dark. So it was time to find camp. I could've swore online it said that campgrounds at the lower falls were open. But none arrival, we soon realized they were not open or even very well plowed. We decided to stay the night in the parking lot. Luckily, we did not get the knock! We woke up early the following morning and waited for the sun to rise before we began our hike to the Lower set of Falls. The hike was 1.5 miles downhill... Then 1.5 miles uphill... In the snow! ❄️ i was tired. Our drive back was mostly clear, and I was able to drive at appropriate speeds.
