In this third segment of Conversations That Care, we close the conversation with a key question: what should we be mindful of when starting an academic career in health education? We talk about learning to say no, ceasing to compete for recognition, building networks, staying focused, not romanticizing sacrifice for the institution, and understanding that an academic career shouldn't cost you your health, rest, or personal life.
