Telangana Govt Cracks Down on Land Scam | 3 Officials Suspended & Dismissed Over Illegal Land Deals

The Telangana government has taken strict disciplinary action against officials involved in illegal encroachment of government lands. The government suspended Deputy Collector Ramunaik and Superintendent Bonanaik for their involvement in unauthorized land transactions. Another Superintendent, V. Venkannan (Vivekanand), was dismissed from service despite having ten years of service remaining. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy warned that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in tampering with government lands. He emphasized that protecting public property is a top priority of the government.
