Meet Fertilo: The Ovary in a Dish
For most people facing infertility, the path to parenthood is anything but simple. Standard IVF can mean two weeks of injections, multiple ultrasounds, and constant monitoring. We believe there's a better way. Fertilo is being developed to move egg maturation ex vivo — outside the body. Using highly engineered cells that mimic the ovarian environment, Fertilo supports immature eggs as they mature in the lab. Often described as an "ovary in a dish," this approach is designed to make fertility treatment simpler and more accessible. In this video, we introduce the science behind one of the first clinical trials to use induced pluripotent stem cell technology in this way. We're committed to rigorous testing through clinical trials, building treatments we'd trust for our own friends and family. Fertilo is an investigational product and has not been approved by the FDA.
