Brothers and sisters, we are shifting our focus slightly in the readings from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew. These days, the apostle tells us that we should recognize Jesus as the guide of our lives and trust in him, and therefore not be afraid when life's difficulties arise. This leads to healing based on trust. Now the readings focus on those sent by Christ to preach the Gospel. Let us discover together how Jesus prepares his disciples to face their own cross.
