New S-301 CAMCOPTER: Armed with Rockets & Loitering Munitions

Schiebel and Thales showcased the new CAMCOPTER S-301 armed helicopter drone at Eurosatroy 2026. The S-301 featured a range of weapon systems by Thales: Laser guided rockets (70mm and 68mm) as well as Toutatis loitering munitions. The launch customer of the S-300 (the unarmed variant) is the Republic of Korea Navy and Marine Corps. In addition, Schiebel is down-selected in two tenders within NATO. For army customers, the S-301 can act as a loyal wingman for attack helicopters. For navy end-users, the S-301 can protect surface vessels from incoming USV and UAV. ===================== With an endurance of up to 24 hours and a maximum gross payload capacity of 340 kg, the S-301 supports a broad range of military operations, from ISTAR to tactical support and secondary roles. The platform can be equipped with high resolution EO/IR sensors, maritime radars, EW systems, sonobuoys and other mission-specific payloads. Significantly, it is also design to carry and deploy a range of precision-guided or loitering munitions. ===================== For new videos every week, subscribe here! http://www.youtube.com/c/NavalNews?su...
