Edward, in his hospital bed, gathers the family together to announce that he's cutting them all out of his will and Melissa is taking their place. She'll get half of his estate with Lila getting the other. Melissa begs him to reconsider. Amy and another nurse come in to be a witness as Edward signs his new will.
