This video serves to take a look at the differences a cheap and an expensive grinder really showcase. Now, whether or not something is "worth" it depends wholly on the person. Similar to the adage "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," worth is a term that is dependent on your relationship with money and coffee, personally. Now, I want to be extra clear- I DO NOT like the Oxo grinder. You are better off buying most any other $100 grinder on the market. It is poor build quality with plastic internals and a burr that will give you incredibly inconsistent particle sizes, depending on the coffee. Was the coffee brewed in the video good? Decent enough- I used an 89 point washed coffee. You can spit on it and make it taste good! SO why use that coffee? Because the people buying $3k grinders are buying those coffees and are the only ones that really need to consider if a grinder expense will improve their coffee more than other forms of elevating one's cup. Anyway, hope you enjoyed!
