In this episode, I explore a lesser-seen side of Tashkent by walking through a neighborhood at the request of my amazing viewer @megapolis2138. This journey offers a raw and honest look at how ordinary people live in Uzbekistan’s capital — from humble courtyards and aging two-story buildings to modern residential complexes rising next door. We start on Talimarjon Street, passing local industrial landmarks like Toshelektroapparat and Uzelektroapparat, before heading into Furqat Park (Furqat bog'i) — home to: The abandoned Ice Avenue Rink The still-active Limpopo Water Park A small go-kart track The local FABIS Restaurant From there, we cross the street to see School No. 158 (158-sonli maktab), and then wander through the narrow alleys and courtyards of Abduraouf Fitrat housing block and Sarikul mahalla, where residents live in modest buildings with small cars, kids playing outside, and plenty of community spirit. We continue along Yangizamon Street, entering an area of 5- and 9-story apartment blocks next to the Temurbeklar Maktabi, an academic lyceum for military telecommunications. Finally, I walk down Norkhodjaev Street and enter the newly built Yangi Hayot residential complex, where modern living contrasts sharply with the older neighborhoods nearby.
