The Math Map Week 1 Day 1 New Grammar Fun

Do my kids have to memorize this entire thing?!?!?!?!?! Hello! This is CC Math Map week 1, Day 1 Grammar. Here I break down the GRAMMAR for week 1 Day 1 into fun songs and chants using signs, just like we do in CC for all other subjects when we're introducing new Grammar!!! I want to make Math learning energetic and FUN!!! Here we cover: The Commutative Law for Addition- We chanted: “The commutative Law of Addition states A plus B equals B plus A.” (CC all cycles, week 22) Geometry! What is the Geometry song? Check it out here:    • CC Weeks 16-20 Math: geometry   What is the definition of a point? “A point is that which has no length, no width, and no height.” And if you can add: It is represented by a DOT. Pffft” P.1 (Sorry! In my repeat I said "represented by a point"... but a point is represented by a "DOT!") What is the definition of Nothing? “Nothing is the absence of all size and quantity.” p. 3 Adding and Subtracting Zero- “The Sum of anything and zero does not change the number” p. 4 and A number plus its opposite, equals ZERO! Multiplying and Dividing Zero- “The product of anything and zero is zero!” p. 4 Powers with an index of zero: Zero to the power of anything equals zero, BUT anything to the power of zero equals one, SO zero to the power of zero equals ONE! p. 4 And that’s the end of Day two for us.
