In this video I break down the 5 pillars of skating performance that every skater of every level should aim to hone. Working on these 5 things took me from starting the sport at 20 to becoming a US Adult National Champion: endurance, strength, balance, skating-specific training, and flexibility/mobility. I'll walk you through why each pillar matters, how they work together, and how to train. Whether you're an adult skater, a coach, or someone chasing a passion later than most, this is something I wish I'd had when I started.
