Actress Fuka Koshiba appeared at the Blu-ray Disc (BD) & DVD release commemoration event for the live-action film "Kiki's Delivery Service" held at the Tokyo Prince Hotel (Minato-ku, Tokyo) on September 18th. Currently active in roles including the film (where she played the lead character Kiki) and the TV drama "GTO," Koshiba said she's been getting more opportunities to speak to people in private. "I'm so happy that people know me. I can be a bit lazy, but since there might be people watching me, I feel like my 'feminine power' has increased, making me want to dress nicely and put on makeup when I go out." She also shared her aspirations as an actress, saying, "I want to steal the good parts of the people I work with and become someone who inherits the good parts of the people I love." When asked which actors she'd like to work with in the future, she answered, "Haruka Ayase and Mao Inoue. I really love them." The day of the event was the unveiling of a concept room based on the live-action film "Kiki's Delivery Service," which will be held at the hotel from the 19th to commemorate the release of the Blu-ray and DVD of the film. Upon seeing the room displaying art props actually used in filming, such as Kiki's magic broom, Kiki's costume, and bicycle, Ko Shibasaki said, "I was surprised. Everything from the film is gathered together, and I can experience the world of 'Kiki's Delivery Service' again. Each and every one of them is nostalgic..."
