New: George Antheil - Ballet Mécanique | More Realistic & Expanded MIDI (1924–25, No Propellers) • George Antheil - Ballet Mécanique | More R... 2024 marks 100 years since George Antheil wrote the original version of Ballet Mécanique. I wanted to include all the parts in this upload, but I ran into some technical issues with the Electric Bells, 3 Propellers, and Siren. So for now, this video only features the parts for 2 pianos and 4 pianolas from the original score (just these six parts alone add up to about 169,000 notes!). If you happen to know how to handle those special instruments or have any ideas on how to make it work, please drop a comment (or reach out on Discord or something if that’s easier). Once I figure it out, I’ll upload the full version. In any case, I hope this shows that Ballet Mécanique is so much more than just “chaos” or a “prank”. Enjoy!
