I could walk without it being unbearable!?! The path felt more enjoyable..except for my knee acting up. We walked through lots of fields along the street. When we finally made it to Licques, a lot of restaurants were closed at 1pm. We got some pineapple juice and orange juice at Le Centaur and talked to the owners for a while (well nick talked..in French). They let their dog greet us from the back and he was so huge and fluffy!!! There was a drunk guy who broke his glass and we were all laughing at him (the owners were friends with him so they were just teasing him). Then we walked to a bakery to get MY FIRST CROISSANT IN FRANCE!! I was so excited hehe. And it was really good. We also got a baguette and some tarts. Nick got a Tartelette Apricot and I got a Tartelette Crème Framboise (Rasberry). We ate in front of the Church and talked to another pilgrim. Then we looked in the church and lit a candle at the altar as we paid respect to those we have lost. We then walked to the campsite where I am currently writing from. We set up our hammocks and now we are going to the pool….then we got kicked out of the pool but it was really nice. It felt nice being in zero gravity. Then we took a shower and went to dinner. I got the risotto and we shared a bottle of red wine. We talked to the people next to us the whole time. They were really nice and we were laughing a lot. They are on vacation but they are from the UK. They gave us a portable charger and they paid for our meal. We had ice cream & I was a little tipsy and was talking in a UK accent for the rest of the night. It was a lot of fun. Then I got in nicks hammock and lay on top of him while he was trying to get me off. It’s 10:20pm currently but it looks like it’s 5pm. Time to sleep. Good night.
