Norway’s biggest day is of course its National Day, also known as Constitution Day. It is celebrated on 17 May. And this is quite a party! What makes Norway's 17th of May special is its very non-military nature. Norway's national day is the day known for its children's parades, ice cream, and marching bands. This is also the day when you see a lot of Norwegians wearing their "bunads" - traditional Norwegian costumes. In Norwegian this day is called: Syttende Mai, Nasjonaldagen or Grunnlovsdagen. And the best way to congratulate each other is to say "Gratulerer med dagen!". We are Indian and living in Norway since last 6 years.
