DOHO IRRIGATION SCHEME
The Ministry of Water and Environment is spearheading the rehabilitation of old irrigation schemes in the country to mitigate the drastic effects of climate change on food production. After the renovation of Doho and Mubuku Irrigation schemes, farmers are now aiming at improving yields since they can now plant for at least three seasons a year.
