Black Doctors and Patients Still Battling Racism in Medicine | Black America

Dr. Uché Blackstock and her twin sister, Oni Blackstock followed the path of their mother , Dr. Dale Blackstock, graduating from Harvard Medical School. Not having the mentorship from her mom, who passed away while they were teenagers, Uché Blackstock was forced to see and face the realities of racism in medicine that met her in her career. Dr. Uché Blackstock joins our host, Carol Jenkins to discuss her memoir, "Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine".
