Roma, Boldrini contestata al corteo femminista: "Non ci rappresenti"

A verbal clash broke out in the streets between a group of young Roman students and former Democratic Party (PD) Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini. The MP took to the streets of Rome as part of a feminist march called for the International Day for Free and Safe Abortion. However, several young women asked her to leave: "You don't represent us, you don't care about working-class neighborhoods, and the Democratic Party hasn't opposed public healthcare cuts and the closure of family planning clinics enough." Boldrini attempted to explain that "the Democratic Party is the party that most defends Law 194." Then, walking away and applauding the group of young protesters, she added: "Then let the Brothers of Italy defend you."
