Fab 4 Free 4 All Episode 264 - Were the Solo Beatles Culturally Influential In the 70s?

In the 60's The Beatles consistently broke new ground in all aspects of culture and were, arguably, an incredible influence on all aspects of life worldwide. Whether one considers music, fashion, or the overarching 'cultural mindset' of the era, the group played a major role in society. In this controversial episode the Fab 4 Free 4 All debate whether the SOLO Beatles were still influential in the decade that followed the group's existence. They look at the music, fashion and some of the societal issues in the 70's to determine whether John, Paul, George and Ringo were still "influencing" us, or whether, despite some of their incredible musical successes, they were not quite the social phenomena they were a decade earlier. They'll also pose the question... was anyone? If you enjoy this episode, please click 'subscribe' and check out our other shows here on YouTube.
