I'm still having RS485 issues so it's time to have a serious look at what alternatives there are with a view to getting rid of the RS485 bus. Here I'm getting an Arduino Mega network connected and trying MQTT as a more suitable TCP/IP compatible protocol alternative to C/MRI.
