KOLEJNE CZERWCOWE BOROWIKI! 12.06.26

Hello everyone. After Thursday's success, I had one plan for the weekend – the Świętokrzyskie forests and continued mushroom hunting. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and I had to stay closer to home. However, I wasn't going to sit idly by. On Friday, right after work, I headed into the forest. This time, my main goal was reticulated boletes, but I also wanted to check out the spots for chanterelles and birch boletes. A pleasant surprise awaited me at the very first spot – the first birch bolete of the season. Unfortunately, it was already quite mature and had long since seen its best days. Later, I visited a young oak stand, where I found the remains of an old reticulated bolete. This was a good sign, so I decided to thoroughly comb the area. It paid off! After a while, I found two young reticulated boletes, and a little further on, two more, this time slightly older. I then checked out several more forests, mainly oak and hornbeam. Unfortunately, it was quiet there, and mushrooms were scarce. At the end of the trip, I visited the last spot. The first chanterelles were waiting there. There weren't many of them, but at least they had grown. It wasn't a spectacular bloom, but the forest clearly shows that the season is in full swing.
