A day at spectacular Puy du Fou in France

Impressions of my one-day visit to theme park Puy du Fou in Les Epesses which is a one hour drive south-west of Nantes. It’s an amazing park where they have some incredible shows of which I think, having only one day, visited my top 4. 1: Le Signe du Triomphe, Roman times back again. As real as it gets with 4-horses chariots racing, gladiator fighting and at the end a spectacular transformation of the spina of the Roman circus (the central structure) into a large bireme galley. (Roman war ship with two banks of oars) 2: Mousquetaire de Richelieu, spectacular show with Spanish dancers, the floor covered in water and with real horses. 3: Le Mime et l'Étoile. Technically top-class about the production of an early 20th century movie. 4: Le Secret de la Lance, spectacular fast horseback riding. Joan of Arc comes to life. These shows are prominent in my movie in the order 2, 4, 1 and 3. I visited some other smaller attractions like La Renaissance du Château which is at the start and some other which I have mixed between the main shows. Remember, you are not alone. There are close to 3 million visitors from April to the end of October.
