I Was Disappointed With This Tenex Lot… Until I Tried It in the Anschütz
Join my patreon; / thegunviking Need a new scope? 10% off with the code GUNVIKING at https://global.vector2007.com/ I had pretty modest expectations going into this test. This particular lot of Eley Tenex has not impressed me in previous rifles, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting miracles this time either. But sometimes a rifle just “clicks” with an ammo lot… and my old Anschütz M54 Match apparently decided to work some German black magic 😄 In this video I test Eley Tenex at 50 yards using: 🔹 Anschütz M54 Match 🔹 Meopta Optika6 3-15x56 🔹 Caldwell front rest and rear bag 🔹 Calm conditions during testing Despite this being a Tenex lot I’ve never really trusted, the Anschütz managed to squeeze out some surprisingly good precision. Not every group was perfect, but the rifle definitely showed that even a “bad” lot of premium ammo can still perform when paired with the right setup. Was it enough to completely redeem this batch? Well… you’ll have to watch and decide for yourself 😁 As always: ✅ No sponsorships ✅ No cherry-picked groups ✅ Just honest shooting and honest results Thanks for watching, and feel free to share your own experiences with Eley Tenex lot variations in the comments. Some rifles absolutely love certain lots, while others seem determined to hate them. Take care — and shoot straight! 🎯 ⚠️ Safety Note All shooting is done in a controlled environment.
