Later, in the 1980s, magnetic tickets and automatic ticket gates appeared, leading to the current style. Current magnetic tickets have had problems with ticket jams due to machine malfunctions and environmental impact during disposal due to the use of metal. For these reasons, the introduction of QR code tickets made from regular paper has been decided. It is also said that costs will be reduced. To use them, users scan a two-dimensional code at the red box on the ticket gate. After use, they are placed in a collection box to be installed outside the ticket gate. The ticket size will be approximately three times larger than current tickets to make it easier to hold up to the ticket gate.
