I've traveled to Shiretoko many times because I love it so much, but I was always hesitant to join the Drift Ice Walk alone. However, after hearing so many people say, "It’s totally fine to join solo!", I finally gathered my courage and gave it a try... but it was NOT fine at all. 😂 Still, an unexpected encounter, along with Shiretoko’s breathtaking nature and wildlife, saved me.
