How to install Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 transducer to Active Target trolling motor mount.

Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 transducer mount conversion to fit Active Target trolling motor shaft mount. Using a aluminum pole style mount and changing out the adjustable gear ring so the taller mount arm can be used to raise transducer high enough to clear trolling motor for Down Scan & traditional sonar. Fully adjustable and tight fitting. Aluminum mount part # 0201657 from Amazon. Very important to use shorter transducer screw to allow thumb screw to be used. The factory Eagle Eye 9 trolling motor mount is plastic and the alignment tabs will break causing transducer not to stay in locked position. The aluminum has no plastic. Very secure and will last much longer. A little more cost for the extra mount but its well worth it. Very secure and looks great. Hope this helps and good luck.
