As Wendy says, 'our own little Shiva'. The audience, unprompted, comes in on the chorus, singing ever so softly. Almost like a whisper, sounding like a choir of children. I was done. I had a lump in my throat the size of a golf ball. These lyrics where art and life eerily come together, hitting me in the chest. "Sometimes it snows in April Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad Sometimes I wish life was never ending And all good things, they say, never last And love, it isn't love until it's past" Even amidst the sorrow, it felt good. I was glad I was there to share this beautiful moment with friends, fellow fans and Prince's treasured musical collaborators.
