In Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights, the Scooby Doo Gang, Mystery Inc., is called to investigate the disappearance of Professor Alexander Graham by Daphne's friend, Holly Graham. The professor lives in Mystic Manor, a decrepit spooky mansion situated near a small fishing village known as Smuggler's Cove. The professor appears to have been kidnapped by a mysterious figure known as the Mastermind, who wishes to steal the professor's latest super-secret invention before he can unveil it. To make sure no one stops him, he has also kidnapped the whole gang, and brought back many old monsters from the classic Scooby Doo TV shows. Night of 100 Frights was developed by Heavy Iron Studios, the same developer that later went on to create Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom, and was published by THQ. The game features 20 different monsters from the first three incarnations of Scooby Doo (being Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, The New Scooby Doo Movies, and The Scooby Doo Show) and features the voice talents of Tim Curry, Tim Conway, and Don Knotts, two of which had previously guest appeared in Scooby Doo media prior. There are very few differences between the console versions, though the GCN and Xbox versions only run at 30fps instead of 60 fps like the PS2 version, and both fixed a few glitches present in the PS2 version (oddly enough, the GCN and Xbox versions each fixed different glitches, as each version was worked on by a different team at Heavy Iron). Additionally, the GameCube version is missing a few sound effects and the Xbox version has a few extra quirks, such as longer fade-outs for level transitions, weird lighting and sound bugs, and a loading screen every time the player dies. Because of that, I consider the PS2 version to be the definitive version of the game, and thus the version I will be playing. In this walkthrough, we will be collecting every Scooby Snack and every Monster Token, as well as every Soap and Gum upgrade. We will also be showing off the game's concept art as well as various glitches and cool tricks I've discovered throughout my years of playing this game. This series is also being recorded using PCSX2 to emulate the game, which allows for a cleaner image both due to higher resolution rendering and a progressive scan hack, as well as a widescreen hack to increase the field of view. In this episode of Let's Play Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights, we begin the game, meeting Holly, learning about Professor Alexander Graham and starting off exploring Mystic Manor, eventually finding the Shovel with the Spooky Groundskeeper, Don Knotts. 0:00 - Intro 6:41 - All Alone 9:31 - Mystic Playground 15:19 - Mystic Manor 20:17 - The First Key
