BJP leader Prasad Lad met Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil in Jalna and assured continued support for the Maratha community's demands. He also stated that over 58 lakh records will be handed over to Jarange, while a dedicated government cell is working on the data. The meeting focused on Maratha reservation, employment, education benefits, and the implementation of pending government decisions. जालना येथे मराठा आरक्षण आंदोलनाचे नेते मनोज जरांगे पाटील आणि भाजप नेते प्रसाद लाड यांची महत्त्वपूर्ण भेट पार पडली. यावेळी प्रसाद लाड यांनी मराठा समाजाच्या विविध मागण्यांबाबत सरकारकडून करण्यात आलेल्या निर्णयांची माहिती दिली. प्रसाद लाड म्हणाले की, मनोज जरांगे पाटील यांनी सरकारच्या विनंतीचा मान राखत उपोषण मागे घेतले होते. त्यानंतर गेल्या 15 दिवसांत अनेक महत्त्वाचे GR आणि निर्णय जलदगतीने घेण्यात आले. MIDC मध्ये मराठा तरुणांना रोजगाराच्या संधी उपलब्ध व्हाव्यात यासाठी परिपत्रक काढण्यात आले असून आंदोलनातील मृतांच्या कुटुंबियांनाही मदत देण्यात आली आहे. तसेच हैदराबाद गॅझेटच्या आधारे प्रमाणपत्र पडताळणीसाठी नियमावली तयार करण्यात आली असून शिंदे समितीला मुदतवाढ देण्यात आल्याची माहितीही त्यांनी दिली. 58 लाख नोंदींचा डेटा हार्ड डिस्कच्या माध्यमातून मनोज जरांगे यांना देण्यात येणार असून त्यावर स्वतंत्र कक्ष काम करत आहे. मराठा आरक्षण, रोजगार, शिक्षण आणि समाजाच्या प्रलंबित मागण्यांबाबत या बैठकीत सविस्तर चर्चा झाली.
